cleaning day [Feb. 6th, 2003|11:26 pm]

[mood |energised]

Decided to spend the day cleaning the grinding area. Lots of metal dust floating around, got rid of a bunch of accumulated junk, sorted some belts. Still waiting for the new motor for the grinder.

For those of you who haven't been to the shop, the grinding, due to power issues, is done in the garage. the garage has become sort of an extension of the workshop, but it's also my garage. There was a lot of accumulated crap in it, more than a pickupload of junk that's getting hauled to the dump tomorrow (assuming the snow isn't too bad.)

Part of the problem is I have some neat stuff that I don't really want, such as a fairly powerful argon laser, a bunch of blowers, quite a few tools that were part of a lot I bought a while ago, and so on. I should, I guess, toss them onto EBAy or drag to them to an aution house, but someday I may want them :). Or not.

Open shop on Saturday, so people can see the new clean garage. Unless it keeps snowing, in which case I doubt anyone will show up. I'm now working on three projects, so I'll get stuff done regardless.
