Well, lawnmower's dead. I don't think it's the battery, I tried jumping it (after verifying it was a 12 volt system), so I'm guessing its either the starter or juice just isn't getting through. Considering its age and that it breaks down at least every other time I try to run it, I'm thinking of replacing it. I wonder if there's any end of season sales going on.

In other news, while jumping from the truck, I discovered a maggot-ridden squirrel carcass inside the truck cab. It must have been in there for weeks. Ugh. Quite the stench. I've been planning on donating it anyway, pretty sure its unsalable now. (remember that mythbuster's episode?)

I was planning on baking bread for a friend's bbq this evening; just as the final rise was finishing and the oven pre-heating, I slipped and it went plop onto the floor. sigh.

some days, things just don't work out.

If it didn't crank it was probably the starter solenoid. Pretty simple fix. But still, this is a great opportunity to get yourself a nice Elec-trak :-)

Hmmm. I have a spare mower, but it needs some work (it starts and runs, but seems to stall when actually mowing). The running one may become spare, as I'm moving to a place that comes with lawn service. And I don't know if Allon needs his anymore (it's been at my place for quite a while, its only problems are a tired battery and a flat tyre).
