So, last weekend was Baitcon: friends, camping, juggling, acrobatics, music, fire, and of course making ice cream. I was mostly involved with the latter, but as someone with an Official Clue I also did a lot of general helping out and making sure things ran smoothly. It was fun.

I spent a good deal of the weekend in the freezing area working a liquid nitrogen dewar, freezing down mixes for people. It's a good way to see a lot of people, taste a lot of flavors, and be in the thick of things while keeping busy.

Seeing a lot of old friends, and (hopefully) making some new ones was good.

Many thanks to JB, Kimberly, Seph, and everyone else for all the hard work.

(If there's interest in doing something vaguely like BC down here in the DC/VA area, I'd gladly donate space and what little organizational skillz I have, comment or contact me privately if you're interested.)
